Eco-Council tree planting

13th November 2019
Our school has received 15 free trees from the Woodland Trust to plant in our school grounds. The Eco-Council took charge of this and helped plant Rowan, Hazel and Crab Apple trees, all to support our environment. We planted these trees so that we could create an ecosystem to help provide habitat to animals, while also having fun learning about different types of trees.

Did you know that Crab Apples, though very sour, make a splendid jelly!
