Richie is an awesome guy living with a diagnosis of autism. He came into school to talk to our year 4, 5 and 6 children about his life and what it is like to live with autism. He has really helped the children to understand a little more about autism and increase their awareness of how unique we all are.
After school, Richie gave a talk to staff to help us better understand what the world can be like for an autistic person and the daily challenges that they can face. I think that it's fair to say that everyone thoroughly enjoyed listening to Richie and we were all able to take something away from his talk.
