Our History topic this half term is called Childhood. We’re going to be learning about similarities and differences between out childhoods today and the childhoods of children in the 1950s. To help us gain more knowledge about how life has changed over time we were very lucky to have a visit from Hannah from Beamish Museum. She talked to the class about what it was like to be a child in the past and brought artefacts for us to explore which included household appliances and toys.
