Digital Leaders Coverage and Evidencing

What are Digital Leaders?
 

A Kibblesworth Academy Digital Leader is a pupil, elected by the teacher having shown confidence in many areas of Computing within their classroom. They are able to use, review and discuss various pieces of information technology and software. Their role is typically to support the use of technology, particularly iPads and Chromebooks, across the school.

 

Their roles also include:

 

  • Supporting the use of iPads and computers in school to support learning
  • Sharing their skills and expertise with other pupils, classes and teachers.
  • Assisting teachers and other pupils in understanding coding applications.
  • Setting up equipment in classrooms for teachers.
  • Supporting teachers in using technology in the classroom.
  • Sharing expertise with other external groups.
  • Having a good understanding of how to stay safe with technology and sharing that with others.
  • Providing first line technical support in school.
