Mission Christmas 2019

24th November 2019

Kibblesworth Academy working together with Lord Lawson of Beamish Academy

A staggering one in three children are classed as living in poverty and the prospect of purchasing Christmas presents can be daunting or simply unachievable for families in need. The Mission Christmas campaign aims to provide every disadvantaged local child with a present to open on Christmas morning, allowing them to still believe in the magic of Christmas.

Kibblesworth Academy are now a registered drop off point for Metro Radio’s Mission Christmas Appeal and we welcome staff, students, parents, governors and the wider community to get involved.

To take part, just follow these simple steps...

•Hit the shops and pick up a fantastic present suitable for children aged 0-18 years.

•Drop your gift off at Kibblesworth Academy reception - there's no need for wrapping! We'll make sure it gets delivered in time for Christmas morning. All donations must be received by 13.12.19.

Enjoy Christmas knowing that you have made a real difference to a child’s life within our local school community. This year we are working jointly with Lord Lawson of Beamish Academy to ensure that children within our own community can benefit from this initiative.

Thanks and Merry Christmas,

Mrs Walsh

Governor of Kibblesworth Academy
