After succeeding in the early stages of the challenge, working as a team to make gilders and solve problems during a PIE day at school, the class were thrilled to find out they had done brilliantly and made it to the next round, where they were given a budget and a brief to make that money grow!
And that is exactly what they have done with their brilliant PARALOOP range! After some well thought out market research, the class realised that they could tap into the current fidget spinner craze and make their own spinners and fidget toys.
After some early attempts with clay, the team hit upon the idea of using paracord to make their own designs – and they have proven to be instant hits.
As well as the innovative two arm spinners, the team have also created Belagi spinners and friendship bracelets in a range of colours and styles. And to make sure the products were noticed, the team also designed their own logo and tag line – and very professional they are too!
The PARALOOP range goes on sale next week, with more pre-orders than the team can currently cope with, and with future bulk orders from school who hope to use the friendship bracelets as rewards for completing passports across the school, the future looks bright for PARALOOP – well done year 5!!!
